I arrived at the hospital
in a police car
uncertain of what
a broken person filled with spite
became stiff, motionless

I finally found peace
in a centre which is more than a place for the sick
there was music
there was singing
friendly staff and patients
a place where I can explore art
the sensation of happiness since for a while
