in fate, a dog can never, ever be with a cat who
never, ever be the dog's friend because they always forever fight over food over bed especially in the city where space is short keeping both cat and dog in an apartment will be like a divine task stopping anger stopping danger of murder such a story worth told across shores I live in the present
I'm built by the past the future's further down holding myths, mystery for me to unfold… Memory is a wonderful thing I need you to make life complete good, bad, joyous, elated in pain, in sorrow, in difficult times though nature, nurture shape me I control my life never put myself in a dark box too enclosed to be suffocated I open the box in come sunshine, fresh air, colours… out go voices to be heard a balance strikes within me! I tackle this
all alone long enough to be killed if not strong desire of survival comes with principle the pain of betrayal only known to those with experience when I come out of this triumphantly I wil pay back the world threefold who wants your twofold words breathe through the radio
bring intimacy to audience a promised case answers a hungry brain stimulations never stop A beautiful voice in public
sings of heroic knowledge and justice about love and honour values gradually diminishing From the opposite corner screams an ex-convict his dignity wanes, he loses credibility all because he does it once only These two voices both carry weight we decide who is more worth for listening |
AuthorI started late to become a writer, after I graduated from the University of Auckland at the age of 57. It all began when one of my articles was first published in Muse, a magazine in Hong Kong. I just finished my first novel Tree which is about Chinese immigrants here in New Zealand. Being bipolar it hasn't been easy but I'm proud to have broken the vicious cycle and begin to enjoy life.
