A blue spread out in front
Linking the sky
With the ocean
With land and buildings
A blue changes in shades
Every moment
I hold my breath
Watching this blue
A blue that fills me up
That governs my mind
A blue so enchanting
A blue spread out in front Linking the sky With the ocean With land and buildings A blue changes in shades Every moment I hold my breath Watching this blue A blue that fills me up That governs my mind

In my memory
A vision of you Stoned, immersed in smoke And nothing else I hate myself As I believe I can’t find Traces of you loving me Now I feel lucky Because you’re gone Out of my path You miserable thief The bud splits open
Turns into a flower Goes through the wheel of life Breaks into darkness of night Then like the moon rises Resurrects into hearts of others It’s getting dark
He drove into the land with tall grass She knew it’s coming She’s frightened Everything was still The air stopped flowing Suddenly the silence was broken She screamed as his body was on over her Rape was only known to her in movies, in news before But now to her The caterpillars kiss my calloused hands
Then fly away After a full cycle of life and death They return in the ordinary way I bend and take them in my hands Enjoying their kisses once again A goose breaks the silence
at the coming footsteps of an intricate beauty in the form of holy trinity. Light and fluffy
A feather floats in the air Gently up Gently down With rhythm With grace Sometimes it glides Sometimes it falls Not stopping Until caught in her hand In a dark tunnel
She gropes She tumbles She screams She cries She stands up again Finally she can see a sparkle Just a small sparkle She knows She is near, she is close But how close, how near It doesn’t matter She’s picked up huge Along her way to glow |
AuthorI started late to become a writer, after I graduated from the University of Auckland at the age of 57. It all began when one of my articles was first published in Muse, a magazine in Hong Kong. I just finished my first novel Tree which is about Chinese immigrants here in New Zealand. Being bipolar it hasn't been easy but I'm proud to have broken the vicious cycle and begin to enjoy life. I'm glad to have survived to this age and be able to live a most fulfilling life. Categories |
