The Clock
The clock ticked. Minutes had passed, then the hours, then time. Where has the time of my life, the best part of it, gone? I look back and sometimes I hated myself for letting it go wasted. However, who would know how I would have spent it; would it be the way I enjoyed it? The past is the past. At least at this twilight years I have found what I really want. I have found myself, who I am; without being tied down by materialistic things. I not only rediscover my passions but I have discovered many other new ones. Life has never been better and it gets better each day.
The clock ticks. I am happy. I am at peace!
